How did you find the selection process for your application at CEIBS? What were the questions asked?
CEIBS application essays are quite challenging and research is required before answering. Once more the focus is on why you want to come to China, your opinion on where you see China in the global scenario. They expect you to have clarity of goals and awareness of the global and economic scenario and how that will impact your career.
Most interviews happen over Skype. The questions are quite lenient. They mainly want to know why you chose to study at CEIBS and what kind of job opportunities you are looking for. Questions are also asked about China in general, for instance, the economy, the opportunities etc.
What is life like for International students on campus?

Almost all Chinese companies who are looking for international applicants come to CEIBS for placements as they view it as the most premier institute in the country.
Most applicants prefer CEIBS for the exchange programs with INSEAD, ESADE, IESE, LBS, Cornell, Wharton, among others. Exchange students do not get alumni status from the exchange school but are eligible to sit for placements and jobs interviews there. This is invaluable as most students get job offers and the network support of both institutions. This is one of the biggest advantages of studying at CEIBS.
For placements CEIBS also maintains a portal where you can remotely apply for job opportunities. This is especially helpful if you are on exchange or internship and you are unable to appear in person on campus. This way they make sure that no one misses out on opportunities.
