I had a Skype video interview which lasted for 45 minutes. Some of the questions asked were:
- Walk me through your resume and tell me something that is not in it
- What are your short term and long term career goals
- Tell me about an instance when you demonstrated leadership and what did you learn from the experience
- Tell me about an instance when you faced crisis and how did you handle the situation
- What are your major strengths and weaknesses
- What types of books do you read and who is your favorite author
- Tweet about your professional career in 140 characters
Ivey interviewers are generally friendly and maintain a cordial atmosphere. For situational questions, answers should be delivered in a Context‐Action‐Result framework focusing more on the action and result portions. It is essential to demonstrate that you have reached out to current Ivey students/alumni and also to have networked with the AdCom which underscores
your interest in the program. Interviewers are looking for candidates who demonstrate confidence and coherence in their responses.
