The structure of the Executive Assessment:
This assessment has been designed with the convenience and flexibility of the candidates in mind. Here are a few important aspects of the exam you need to be aware of:
- Exam duration: 90 minutes
- Test centres: 600 test centres around the globe
- No reschedule charges: You can now reschedule with no cost within 48 hours of appointment
- Rapid real-time results: You will get your official results within 24 hours and within the same time frame your results will be sent to your selected schools
The executive assessment primarily tests your data-driven skills— how you use them in your daily life at work and in your course. This assessment comprises a total of 40 question across three sections namely – Integrated Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning. Each section of this assessment has an evaluation scale of 0 to 20. The scale of the total assessment ranges from 100 to 200 — weighing all three sections equally to determine your total score.

Executive Assessment vs. GMAT: Which one is right for you?
Let’s see how these two tests differ in some key aspect in the following table;
| Executive Assessment | GMAT | |
| Length | The duration of the exam is less. It only takes 90 minutes. ( The number of questions in verbal and quantitative are halved. There no Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) in EA.) EA also consists of questions that were designed to focus on requirements of EMBA classes. Thus, questions are based on real-life work/business scenarios | GMAT is a lengthier test which approximately takes 180 minutes. |
| Content | Unlike GMAT, there are no Geometry questions in the quant section of EA. EA is a computer adaptive test like GMAT, only difference being questions will get easier or harder after a set or block of questions. | In GMAT the questions can get tougher or easier after every question. |
