ISB Post Graduate Program (PGP) is designed for those looking for a top MBA Program for a transformation in career by expanding their existing skills and refining their goals. ISB PGP Admission Process 2024-25
Each applicant planning to apply to PGP needs to fulfill the following application requirements.
- One letter of recommendation from an employer or academic supervisor
- Two required essays.
- GMAT or GRE score
- Online application form
The shortlisted candidates are invited for the interview in person or on Skype. Upon completing the two-stage process, the applicants receive the final admission from the school.
ISB PGP Eligibility Criteria 2024-25
To apply for the program, one should complete 2 years of full-time work experience in any sector. Usually, most of the applicants applying for the program will have 4-5 years of experience (average of the class of 2024). One can also apply for PGP within the age group range of 22-44 years (the average age group in the class of 2024 was 27 years).
There is no cut-off score for the GMAT / GRE. However, the range of GMAT in the current class is 600 to 780 and the range of GRE is 311 to 335.
In 2024, the average GRE for the class was 329 and the GMAT was 720.
Army, Navy, Defense backgrounds, etc. will get some consideration because they will not be in the competitive pool with regular candidates. ISB always looks for candidates from diverse backgrounds to enter their classrooms. Hence candidates from low-represented backgrounds will get some consideration.

Fee and Financing
Candidates who receive an offer should pay Rs.3,54,000 (Inclusive of tax) as an admission fee to confirm their seat. Before starting the semester in April, one must pay Rs.42,13,000 (approx) which includes tuition fee, campus accommodation, Alumni Association membership, and tax (mentioned fees exclusive of books and other expenses). ISB lets you pay the program fee in 2 installments (on prior discussion with the admissions committee). However, a discount is offered for payment in one shot.
To appreciate exceptional applicants and support deserving candidates, ISB awards several tuition fee waivers and scholarships during admission or after enrolment.
ISB-funded tuition fee waivers include corporate and donor-funded scholarships. The following are the different categories of fee waivers.
Merit Waivers – Award based on the overall weighted score of the applicant during the admission process.
Need-Based Waivers – Corporate donors and ISB awards up to 40 scholarships of Rs.5,00,000 to deserving candidates whose family income is not more than Rs.12,00,000 per annum.
ISB Merit by Diversity – To encourage students with diverse profiles, ISB gives scholarships of Rs.5,00,000 to up to 10 students.
AIESEC – ISB Waivers – Up to 3 scholarships of Rs.5,00,000 to AIESECers.
International Diversity – ISB also offers up to 30 scholarships of varying amounts to deserving international students.
Bridge to India – Given to Indian-origin students currently working abroad, who plan to move back to India. Rs.5,00,000 – Rs.10,00,000 scholarships to up to 5 students.
Campuses
ISB PGP is offered on two campuses, Hyderabad and Mohali. So, The entire selection process is independent of your choice of location. You will have an option to indicate your preference for the Hyderabad or Mohali campus in the application. While the school will consider your preference. The final decision on the allotment of campus will be taken by the admissions committee. Both campuses have the same ISB curriculum and run in parallel with each other. There is no difference in the curriculum, apart from the choice of electives.
The total number of aspirants shortlisted for ISB PGP will be 850 (approx.). The seating capacity at the Mohali campus is less compared to the Hyderabad campus (the first ISB campus). So, the seats are divided between both campuses in the ratio of 3:7 (3 for Mohali and 7 for Hyderabad).
Cycles for Application
It is advisable to apply early to plan and work on relocation arrangements. However, applying in any round (R1, R2 & R3) will have equal chances of selection (unless the applicant is not looking for a scholarship). The seats are allotted for each cycle, and the number of offers made varies based on the decision of the admissions committee.
