Admission to the young leaders programme or YLP includes three basic stages and is thoughtfully designed to appraise your analytical and academic credentials, your personal attributes as well as your leadership caliber. So have you decided to do your MBA from a leading/premium B-School? Or you are still in a college and haven’t decided whether you should join a B-school right away or get some prior experience?
Well this is a scenario every college passout is experiencing. But you will be glad to know that, with the help of YLP from ISB, you can plan your way clearly towards success. ISB YLP is undoubtedly an exigent foundation programme which is masterly planned for pre-final or final year students who are pursuing their post-graduates or graduate degrees.
Once you made your way to YLP and completed this with decent score, you can expect to have admission into the flagship i.e. Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) at the Indian School of Business. As discussed, if you want to take admission in YLP, there is no need to follow any hardcore modus-operandi as this would be done with dedication and hardwork by following three simple steps given below.
Stage-1- Application
This is a basic and simple stage which includes only your application form, application fee and one essay which, of course, must be well written. In order to fill application, you will have to login to online application portal and then start filling it in three simple segments.
First segment is application information which you have to mention into the form. Fill your personal and contact details. Avoid spelling and typo errors and ensure the name you enter is same as mentioned on your passport since your PGP certificate will be issued on the same name, given in your passport.
Second segment is your educational details where you have to show your academic potentials. You will be asked to mention your X, XII marks or either one, or your entire undergraduate, post graduate or integrated programme.
Third segment includes the awards and activities. This is asked to evaluate your personality so mention only what you like personally as per your interest and performance in extra-curricular activities. ISB admission process is fully measured and holistic. Thus, these details really matter.
Essay
In the first stage of admission process, you are expected to submit at least one essay. Essays indeed play a significant role in the ISB application process. It is the essay which helps the admission team understand your creativity, ambitions, thought process and your story.

- GMAT/GRE Score- In order to present their official GMAT/GRE score, candidates will have to clear stage 1. You can take GMAT/GRE on the day of deadline and submit your test score along with your application form. Ensure this to your official and the score report will be reached to the B-school on or before the application deadline.
