The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), is a world-renowned college that offers diverse courses in multiple disciplines. It is also known for its management programs. In the last decade, UCLA has launched executive MBA programs for professionals with considerable work experience.
UCLA has launched two executive MBA programs in India in the past few years. These two programs are UCLA PGP PRO and UCLA PGPX. Though both these programs are for experienced professionals who have been working in the industry for a while, there are a few differences between executive programs.
Let’s see how these programs are different from one another:
UCLA PGP PRO | UCLA PGPX | |
Started in | 2015 | 1954 |
Work Experience | The average years of work experience of a UCLA PGP PRO class is 10 years | A class of UCLA PGPX would have an average of 18 years of work experience |
Duration | One Year | One Year |
Program Fees | USD 10,000 | USD 28,000 |
Locations available in | India Online | UCLA Campus (California, US)India |
Course cycle | April 2020 – March 2021 | August 2020 – July 2021 |
The significant difference between the two courses would be the experience of the candidates in the program. Where UCLA PGP PRO candidates come mostly from early or middle management roles, the candidates for the UCLA PGPX program come from middle or senior management level roles.
The program fees are also considerably different for both the programs. The UCLA PGPX program is more expensive when compared to the UCLA PGP Pro. However, PGPX has a proven record of distinguished alumni that comprises CEOs and founders of some of the top companies in the world.
Both programs offer great faculty members and course curriculum, which will help experienced professionals to boost their careers. The program plan is flexible and will allow professionals to still go on with their jobs.
